Herbalism as the Path to Big WoW Profits

World of Warcraft Herbalists can make tons of gold because their herbs are so important as mats for raids. They go into potions and elixirs like the Runic Mana Potion that are vitally important to high level characters. When you combine the scarcity of some of these herbs with the value of the items they get made into, it is easy to see why a smart herbalist can make a huge profit.

Herbalism is a gathering profession, as is Mining. But the mechanics of gathering herbs are somewhat different than for gathering minerals. While minerals tend to be clustered around the edges of zones or in the mountainous areas, herbs pop up more or less anywhere within the zone. You’re going to have to scout out each new zone carefully to figure out the best route for gathering the herbs you want.

Once you’ve gathered up some of the herbs you want to work with, you have a few more important choices to make. The first is whether to sell your stockpile as is, or somehow turn the mats (materials) into the potions and elixirs players are really looking for, and sell those finished products. The decision will vary depending on the herb in question, the situation in the Auction House, and of course whether you have access to an Elixir or Potion Master that will do the actual conversions for you.

Also factoring into this decision is the question of how you will sell the raw materials or finished products. For some products, it makes more sense to sell them in small batches. For others, it makes more sense to group them as full stacks. Figuring out the right thing to do on your own is possible, but can be very time consuming.

A top-quality WoW Gold Guide will have an Herbalism section that will answer all these questions, and sometimes even give you great tools like pre-plotted routes to follow when gathering. This kind of information can make Herbalism very profitable for you.

The Warcraft Tycoon’s Handbook is just such a top-quality gold guide. It has answers to all your Herbalist’s questions. Not only that the Handbook covers making gold in all sorts of ways, so you won’t get bored doing the same thing all the time. And everything in the Handbook complies with the Warcraft Terms of Service (ToS), so there’s no chance at all of getting banned.
